There's mackerel in the sky

24th June 2018, Newton Point, 7am

A patch of pastel colour lingered at the horizon long after sunrise.  High above the sky was full of delicate mackerel clouds.






Meanwhile back at home the mackerel sky hung about for a while but soon disappeared - perhaps burned off by the warm sun.

A warm sun with a cool breeze and strong shadows.
