Very calm and warm already. The sea was smooth as a lake. The Skaith in reflective mood, looking its best.
17th May 2014, Football Hole, 6pm
We sat on the sand and watched the sea. Not many folk around and nothing else to do so we soaked up the last warmth of the day and made plans for tomorrow
On our way back we spotted a peacock butterfly in the grass. The is is the underside which is normally very dark but because it's backlit, the patterns are visible through the wings.
