31st March 2019, Embleton Bay, 7am BST
The clocks may have changed but the sunrise remains the same.
I'm getting used to company on my walks and so is Daisy. Just our footprints this morning though.
Happy Mother's Day to all Mums (especially Lucy xxx)
31st March 2019, Newton Point, 4pm
Longer evenings are with us... Daisy celebrated with a hole.

catching up
23rd March 2019, Alnmouth, 8am
Like the patterns of sand and sea
We sparkle under morning sunlight
25th March 2019, Beadnell Bay, 7am
Watching the waves with Daisy
26th March 2019, Embleton Bay, 8am
A walk with calm moments and energetic moments...
Back to just me and Daisy for a change.
30th March 2019, Hauxley, 11am
An uncharacteristically late morning walk (by our standards) under a beautiful silvery light
We stopped for ice cream at Morwick and met some lovely faces.

signs of spring
22nd March 2019, Embleton Bay, 8am
A grey morning but definitely not dull...
22nd March 2019, Low Newton, 11am
Signs of spring all around us now.
22nd March 2019, Longhorsley, 4pm
After some lovely walks this morning it was back to a wet dog walk...

nothing to do
21st March 2019, Howick, 8am
Warm enough for Daisy to have a plodge in the sea. Then we needed a rest in the sun...
I had nothing in my diary until this evening so why not.
Migrating Whooper swans

changing waves
18th March 2019, Embleton Bay, 7:30am
A reflective morning on the wet sand but it was the light on the waves that caught the imagination this morning.
There were calm moments between each burst of huge waves. The tireless breakers rolled and crashed and the vista across the bay changed every second.
Sunday 17 March 2019
part of the pack
16th March 2019, Boston Links, 5pm
Gorgeous late afternoon sunshine on the beach wandering with the family of dogs...
Daisy loves being part of this pack.
Down on the windy beach this afternoon I couldn't resist getting down to ground level to photograph these perched pebbles. You can see the sand flying...Hopefully the camera will survive!
17th March 2019, Hauxley, 8am
We walk towards the rising sun
every step leading us onwards.
Among a thousand footprints
our path winds its way.
Together we'll see
what lies around the corner.

on the mend
15th March 2019, Embleton Bay, 7:30am
We had an almost normal walk and daisy wanted to play for the first time in several days.
She was still holding up her paw but obviously getting better.
15th March 2019, Embleton Bay, 11am
Back again with a group from HPB Lucker Hall. Fiercely windy but a lovely energising walk with lovely people.
