Catch Up

I've been very busy with all sorts of stuff - work and otherwise so it's time for a catch up...

18th May 2013, Low Newton, 8am

This sand art amused me. Good effort by whoever went to the bother...

24th May 2013, Newton Links, 8am

A rare warm and bright day and Daisy ran around so much she felt the need to to cool her paws.

Bright and warm today with a Caribbean sea!

The bright weather looks just as good in black and white...

I lay in the grass in the sun for a while and daisy towered above me..

Daisy @ 3

5th May 2013, Low Newton, 6:30am

Bright and sunny but a very chilly wind whipping across the sand.

Up and about early on a gorgeous morning for Daisy's birthday walk. We went to Low Newton - later today this green will be buzzing with people but for now it's all very peaceful.

Spittal

4th May 2013, Spittal

Probably the last beach before Scotland, Spittal is just S of Berwick and is an independent minded village. The name is a contraction of 'hospital' as there was a leper hospital here many years ago. Su used to come and bounce on the trampolines as a kid. It has that lovely, faded British seaside resort feel about it and the beach is great for driftwood!

The lighthouse on Berwick pier.

The chimney of the old chemical works that dominated Spittal for many years.
