15th November 2019, Beadnell Bay, 10am

A fine, if showery,  guided walk up and back down Beadnell Bay with HPB guests.

Daisy came along too to enjoy the shiny beach.

posing three

14th November 2019, Newton Point, 9am

Utter joy to return to one of my favourite walks despite it being literally freezing and more than a bit fresh in the wind.

Showers passed north and south of us giving dramatic scenes.

Meanwhile we stayed dry and I attempted to get the 3 hounds to pose nicely (with various degrees of success)...

don't move

11th November 2019, Embleton bay 10am

A very pleasant 1:1 photo training session today.

Interesting patterns of sand & water beneath our feet and lovely clouds above our heads.

Two very different shots from the same location and with same lens.

...and from a bit further along the beach

always beautiful

8th November 2019, Embleton Bay, 8am

A bit chilly, a bit damp, a bit grey but always a beautiful place to be.

9th November 2019, Longhorsley, 1pm

Finally a gap in the rain and a lovely autumn walk with the furry family

10th November 2019, Longhorsley, 7:30am

A beautiful frosty autumn morning

10th November 2019, Hauxley, 9am

Textures of sandstone on the beach at Low Hauxley.

It's complicated

6th November 2019, Alnmouth, 7am

A complicated sky hiding the sunrise.

Henry and the lighthouse

5th November 2019, Hauxley, 12noon

Dry and bright at Hauxley but stormy rain passed to the north and another cloud rained further south.

Monday blues

4th November 2019, Howick, 7am

This isn't a bad place to spend a Monday morning.  No blues for me today.

Nice to see this little snow bunting on the rocks by the beach.  There are a few here just now forced over the N Sea by bad weather.

running, running, running....

3rd November 2019, Hauxley, 10am

Henry sure does a lot of running about...

non-scary halloween

31st October 2019, Alnmouth, 4pm

A very non-scary walk along Alnmouth beach as the sun set behind us.

Tuesday, 29 October 2019

changeable north and south

29th October 2019, Bamburgh, 8am

 A showery morning.

To the North were blue skies over Holy Island

To the south a shower was blowing in over Bamburgh

Soon enough it was blue skies all round

Monday, 28 October 2019

the icy morning cometh

28th October 2019, Longhorsley, 7am

Finally a frost to freeze the muddy paths...

Two roe deer bounced across our paths and Daisy and me stood and watched them go by.
