As we sat in the Ship Inn playing music last night the blue skies faded to grey and the temperature dropped as the fret rolled in. Soon you couldn't see the sea from the pub.
This morning it was blissfully cool and beautifully calm down on the beach. Out in the mist the coble fisherman started his day while up in the dunes, me and Daisy got wet legs from the profusion of water droplets clinging like jewels to the marram grass.
This is Northumberland and I love it. If you don't like it, there are sunny places elsewhere...
