Watching the seabirds down by Dunstanburgh. Lots of razorbills flying around this morning along with the usual kittiwakes and fulmars.

There are often fishermen down on the point. It must be a precarious path.

A beautiful bright sunny morning early enough to be but pleasantly cool.

 I came across a pile of balanced stones down at 'saddle rock' and very impressive they were too.

...and then I noticed a few stones that had obviously fallen over and I decided to have a go.  Daisy came to see what was going on but fortunately kept her tail to herself.  I was quite pleased with my first ever attempt.

The waves were beautiful in the sun light swirling around the cannonball boulders

We wandered down to the beach to plodge in the sea and I was inspired to try another pile of stones while Daisy stood in the water.

Heading back home across the golf course and it was a treat to find some pale pink orchids in the rough between fairways

I live for mornings like this.  Bright and sunny but not too hot and no-one else on the beach.

A very bright morning and cloudless blue sky greeted us but there was a bank of mist to the North.

Within 5 minutes the mist had rolled in blocking out the sun.

1st July 2018, Embleton Bay, 7am

A dense sea fret on Embleton Bay this morning but it was starting to break up by 7:30. As the sun broke through I was briefly joined by a "mist-bow'...another of nature's rare delights.

Now home, 1 mile inland, and it's bright sunshine and breakfast in the garden.

A great PhotoWalk with two young people whose company I really enjoyed.  Very bright weather and runners going up and down the beach on some sort of coast run.

There was literally not a cloud in the sky.

A cloudy start to the day reflected beautifully in the Skaith.  I was enjoying the cool air.
