windblown

26th Feb 2018, Bamburgh, 9:30am

Just occasionally I use Intentional Camera Movement (ICE) in a landscape as it imparts a sense of the movement of the grass in the wind. This morning as I was standing, talking about photography with 2 clients on a windblown dune with hail in the air was just such an occasion.

There is a high pressure over Norway sending cold, siberian air over Britain for the next couple of days and the media has the country braced for the Worst Winter Ever.   Hmm, we'll see...

The weather brightened against all expectations and this afternoon's walk was very pleasant.  The only beast from the east was Daisy
