This was a 5.3 m tide, which is big, but tomorrow's meant to be bigger. I've not seen it so flooded before though.
This wee clump is not normally an island and, in the Summer is surrounded by a Little Tern colony. If they'd been there today they would have been flooded out for sure as they lay their eggs in open nests on the sand.
Trooper was unimpressed with the minimal area sand for him to run about on.
