The rain has been and gone leaving a flat grey morning. But the lack of dramatic light is made up for by the birdsong and calls of yellowhammer, skylarks, great tits, oyster catchers and curlew and a brief appearance by a barn owl wafting along the hedge line. That was all before I met my guild walk clients.
In the end we saw 26 species of bird by the end of our guided walk.

Beautiful textures in the sky
Yesterday the sea was in such a rage it threw all the toys out the pram.
Patterns in the sandstone.
Some see seagulls, some see stress fractures filled with quartz mineral.
Some see faces, some see angels.
