The Big View can make a lovely photograph - but often what you end up with is really just a "photograph of a nice view". That might be exactly what you want so that's all good.
Sometimes I like to FIND photographs that are hiding in the big view and MAKE photographs FROM the view. If you look closely you can find find all 3 of these photos in the above shot.
In this shot it's simply achieved with a zoom lens to pull in the detail composition...
...but in these others it's a different view and a different foreground of the same sky. Look. See. Photograph.
Daisy doesn't care about such things.

A few flowers have come out on this Burnet Rose while other Burnett's are well into their rose hip stage.
