what is unique?

8th November 2017, Dunstanburgh, 7:30am

I heard someone say that sunrises are too obvious so they don't photograph them any more. For me every sunrise is unique but sometimes you have to search for that uniqueness. Just at the moment, every cloudless sunrise is the same and with almost boring predictability the castle projects its shadow across the golf course making the 'sun through the windows' shot very easy to capture.

"So what makes it different today?" is the question I try to ask myself.

Today it was the birds - crows (or similar) circling round the battlements as their ancestors have done for hundreds of years.

See the view then Find the photograph.
