13th August 2017, Embleton Bay, 7:30am
A beautiful sunny morning with blue sky and blue sea and bright sun.
It'll get busy later but for now it was just a few friendly dog-walkers. It was disappointing to have to pick up some poo from the middle of the beach. This is so rare that it is very noticeable when it happens. I honestly can't remember the last time I found any dog poo on the beach. We seem to get very responsible dog-owners around here and the cleaner the beach is when they arrive, the more likely they are to pick up after their own dog. That's why I don't hesitate to pick up after others - after all we can all make mistakes. I also like to remove any ammunition from the people who would have dogs banned from the beaches.
