bejewelled

15th August 2017, Embleton Bay, 7:30am

Some days I enjoy ignoring the obvious draw of Dunstanburgh Castle and point my camera elsewhere. Today was all about the waves and the sunlight shining through the rollers.

Meanwhile up in the dunes the morning sun caught the harebells bejewelled by the overnight rain.

Not much running around from the hound this morning. She's getting older (aren't we all) and saves her energy for special pals...

15th August 2017, Howick, 11am

I was fortunate to miss this heavy shower on my run.  Only a few cooling raindrops came my way
