10th January 2016, Embleton Bay, 8am
I was reading Richard Denyer's obituary yesterday. Denyer photographed the landscapes of Norfolk, East Anglia and the Outer Hebrides - all places which can have grey and bleak moments - not unlike my own corner of Northumberland.
He shot in black and white but was not averse to capturing weak colours if that's what the shot demanded.
Denyer worked tirelessly to champion photography and help fellow photographers so this post is a tribute to him.
