Spring springs?

10th February11, Newton Point, 3pm

Beautiful light on the grass and a gorgeous blue sky. Overall a grand late afternoon.

Daisy is bathed in Golden Light as she plays around in the long grass. A bit warm from running round judging by her breath in the air.

Has spring sprung? Every year we think of snowdrops as the harbingers of spring but they're really midwinter flowers. You can tell the variety by the green pattern on the petals (here they're like sycamore seeds but I don't know what that means). Lovely day today though did I mention?

you-wee because said...

You already have snowdrops in your part of the world, Andy! ?
In the south of Germany we have a lot of drops, too, but only rain drops... ;-))

We are waiting for the snowdrop, crocus and tulip blossoms desperately!

Have a great weekend!

Uwe.
