Another day, another ball

4th Nov09, Embleton Bay, 8am

A beautiful day and it seemed to me to be pleasantly warm. I changed my mind as we waded (me bootless) through the river. It must have been pretty close to freezing but once through it and the boots are back on it's a great feeling. You don't appreciate warm feet unless you try cold feet now and again. Here endeth today's allegorical musings.

These rivulets on the sand seemed to me to resemble diabolical flames.

Trooper switched effortlessly to No. 2 ball which has been in reserve for some time.

What a beautiful image of the rivulets on the sand. Reminds me of a medieval woodcut. Looking forward to the adventures of Ball No.2 !
