Stroppy Dog

This morning's walk was Embelton Quarry, a former whinstone quarry long closed. Trooper dislikes it as it's too short a loop and he always heads off for a 2nd lap! I like it cos it's sheltered and it was a freezing wind today.



Back to normal for this evening though. I was out for ages today and Trooper was cooped up for too long. He was in a bad mood and was more balshy than normal. He always walks behind me but when we turned back toward the car he took off at a fast trot heading as far away as he could!

The wind had created these miniature "perched pebbles" which I think are beautiful creations.

...and then the sun set and the moon rose...
