kippers, birds and dogs

Ruby met some gannet (but not real ones).

The kipper smokehouse dominates Craster as the smokey aroma wafts along the streets and into houses and the pub. Sometimes you can smell the smoking fish from Embleton Bay, carried on what I used call a "kipper wind".

blue day

A beautiful blue day that lasted long enough to squeeze in a cheeky walk after work.

I don't know who arranges the stones, seashells and other found items but they've been doing it for years. 

 

new normal

Getting back to the new normal.

Thank goodness for little Ruby who makes it all easier.

gone but not forgotten

We scattered the ashes of our beautiful Henry today at his favourite beach for swimming and playing.

It's a cruel world sometimes to lose a wee pal when he was only half way through his life.

There was the lightest shower of rain for just a few seconds as we laid him to rest.  So beautiful.

RIP Henry

Beautiful light shone across the land as we walked and exchanged memories and tears.
