What I love is finding something new on a beach I've walked on hundreds of times.
Today, the tides have uncovered these sandstone outcrops that I've not seen before. Nowhere else on the beach are these layers of colour visible and they are so striking that they stopped me in my tracks.
As we walked towards Alnmouth the mist thinned and the temperature rose.
