Earth Day

22nd April 2018, Dunstanburgh, 6:30am

It's Earth Day today. I like to think that every day for me is a day to celebrate the natural world. My photography is inspired endlessly by the nature that surrounds me on this beautiful Northumberland coastline.

Today was no exception with the beautiful light of the new day shining over the sea.  I was drawn to different silhouettes of grass rocks and headland.

I had to rush for this shot as I could see that the sun would soon disappear into the wee cloud.

Further up the coast and the sun had come back out from the cloud.  I couldn't decide which composition I preferred but seeing as I don't really have to choose, here's both!

Further up the coast again and the sun was more hazy
