sunlight and sea

15th July 2013, Embleton Bay, 8am

The high pressure system sits over Britain and we've had lovely warm weather for ages now. The sunlight was beautiful on the calm sea.
This folded limestone structure is known locally as 'saddle rock'

A lone fisherman stood at the end of the headland.

Daisy cooled off in the sea...

...which was as beautiful from up on the dunes as it was with our feet in the water.

you-wee because said...

Great to see you sunny and plaesant weather, Andy. It's the same we have in the southwest of Germany. What we miss is just the North Sea - but within the next 14 days... ;-)
Have a great week, Uwe.
