20th February 2014, Newton Point,4pm
A break in the grey weather this afternoon but banks of cloud are heading this way from the West.

Daisy's now firmly on the long lead after too many wandering incidents of late. She was away over an hour this morning having suddenly abandoned a game of ball-chasing on the beach to sprint off up into the dunes, and beyond, faster than I could ever catch her and completely oblivious to any commands.
Fortunately she's very good on the lead so we'll adapt to the new regime quite easily.
