3rd May 2014, Embleton Bay, 7:30am
Another blue sky morning down on Embleton Bay. Lot's of swallows on the beach - weaving and darting around the sky. They often look like black silhouettes but today they were nicely lit by the low sun and they revealed their true dark blue, cream and orange colours.
I picked up a good bag-full of litter that had collected on the sand - often the case when an East wind's been blowing.
