The wind is West-ish which means the beach is sheltered and there's no sand flying about. I lay in the sun while Daisy dug a hole and then she stole my hat. I think that's what she's planning here...
added: Someone wrote a French post on my Twitter feed so I looked it up and found this nice quote - I don't know where it's from but it's appropriate... "Je me promène à pied , le nez au vent , l' oeil aux aguets". (I walk on my feet, my nose to the wind and with a watchful eye)
