...but why watch TV

16th Feb12, Newton Point, 3pm

The beach is a bit busier than normal with half-term so we choose quieter paths. The sun was shining a spotlight through the clouds onto selected parts of the landscape.

Clouds that begged for a black and white conversion. The wee building with the big aerial is an old coastguard lookout now a 'quirky' holiday house with an amazing view and the best TV reception for miles ;-)

17th Feb12, Christon Bank, 8am

All quiet in the woods with perfect reflections on the pond.

The path through the woods is an easy walk in the winter but the flowering current is already bursting into life and soon the path will be impassable and overgrown until next winter.

...hard to believe that the black currant leaves are already bursting into live in your part of planet Earth, Andy!!!
We had snow showers yesterday evening and a touch of springtime is just an idea still very far away from reality!
