These regular courses on Embleton bay are a great excercise in looking at how different the light can be at exactly the same spot and at the same time day-to-day. The atmosphere is different and the photographic opportunities are always there, but always new.
Today the striking feature was the dark sky above the bright sea. A rare occasion when the sky was darker than the foreground. The sparkling play of light on the river and on the sea seemed to suit black and white. I was pleased to capture the wind on the surface of the skaith as the breeze was brisk this morning.
