It is so nice to have sun and blue skies back again for a few days after getting soaked and frozen over the weekend.

When the sun's out and low in the sky, everything looks better. The texture of this wood was brought into focus and, after watching an Alferd Hitchcock film over the weekend, I was drawn to the bold shadows.
Trooper got double walks this morning as we were nearly back to the car when we set off for a 2nd lap in the company of the National Trust warden. It was too nice a day to go back home and I learned lots of facts about dunes and erosion as we walked. Thanks to Kevin for answering my many questions!
