I'm not convinced these Red Hot Pokers are native but they grow right along the dunes at Low Newton and add a splash of colour.
Cuckoo Flower, named because it flowers at the same time as the cuckoo arrives. Also known as Lady's Smock as it is a delicate shade of lilac rather than pure white.
