change of scenery

Up the coast a bit to Seahouses for a change of scenery. This beach looks out onto the Farne Islands; home to loads of puffins, seals and the setting for the heroic tale of Grace Darling. for a more fun version of the story try here.

After helping in the rescue of 9 drowning sailors when only 22 years old, Grace became a Victorian celebrity and her name is still used to attract tourists to this area today.
