My first ever PhotoDay (joining my PhotoTrails and PhotoWorkshops) meant a whole day taking photographs at two different locations linked by a coffee break at the Ship Inn in Low Newton and lunch in the fab Jolly Fisherman in Craster. Not a bad way to spend a day... We started at Craster harbour. This is a fairly standard shot from the lobster pots across the harbour but trying to keep the composition as simple as possible...
Then a couple of "different" shots...
...and a study of the dramatic clouds above Dunstanburgh Castle.
90 degrees to the Right and the view out over the very calm sea couldn't be more different.
And so to the flower meadows of Newton Point. They are so amazing at the moment that it was nice to re-visit. First an obvious shot...
...and then something different again.

Nice idea to have a whole photo day. This week I have a whole training week with participants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland! All in all not too much time to take any photos... ;-(
Always great light, Uwe.
