A fine morning turned to a heavy snow storm as we left the house. I had to stop the car to get this shot of the morning sun through the lace curtains of snow.

By the time we reached the beach the storm was clearing away. As short as it was dramatic.

I'd set myself the challenge of capturing the high contrast light that looks so beautiful on the shore on a morning like this. This is a combination of one exposure for the sky and one for the shore with a fair old tweak to the contrast in PS.
