Looking forward to a new year.

No sunrise this morning.  People have a lot of faith in 2021 being better than 2020 and a beautiful sunrise would have been a good omen but hey ho!

It was a bracingly windy and fresh start to the year.

Eventually there was a bit of colour in the sky.

Meanwhile back at home the spaniels led the way in how to chill out on New Year's Day
