On this morning's dog walk there were swathes of buttercups among the beautiful grasses.
There was no time for a photo then so I had to return with my camera and an easier schedule later on.
It's all too easy to walk past nature's intricate web of life with your head down and thoughts elsewhere.
Daisy was outside sunning herself in the garden but the spaniels like to keep an eye on me in case there's something occurring...
