26th April 2013, Embleton Bay, 8am
Not a cloud in the sky when we arrived on the beach this morning. A chilly wind from the SW which could be sheltered from and I sat and watched the swallows zipping along the dunes. They were hard to count as each bird had a strong shadow just as black as the bird itself. The birds and their shadows flitted, twisted and dived after insects as such a speed that a mere human eye had no chance to keep up.
Daisy's shadow is as pretty as she is.
A new view of the beach huts from the highest point of the dunes.
The golf course tractor was on the beach harvesting sand for their bunkers.
