A later and longer walk and it was near dark as we got back to the road. The trees were towering and looming out of the darkness and the light was a deep blue. No photoshop here - all just as nature intended.
This accidental shot arose as Trooper walked in front of and over the camera as I was taking a shot. I like it. The shadow right and top is his furry old body and leg.

A grey old morning so I've converted all of these to sepia to give a bit of colour.
