dawn chorus

Up early today for a wander through the woods to hear the dawn chorus. This being a visual medium, you'll have to take my word for the quality of the experience. Highlight wasn't a bird; it was a red squirrel who made gentle yap sounds and an even more gentle melodic purr. Trooper was being driven mad as he couldn't see it and definitely couldn't get at it!
