Sunday 7th December, Embleton Bay, 9am
Later in the day, the tides were favourable to make the crossing to Holy Island. I think it's very exciting to cross the sea bed on the causeway. It's also a painfully beautiful place. It has an atmosphere all it's own - especially out of season when there are no coaches.
