Nice and quiet on the island this early. I quite like the 'look' of this photograph that was snapped through my windscreen.
Down on the W beach looking to St Cuthbert's Isle. No wind, no waves. Just song birds on the island and seals signing out on the sands.
Looking to the Farne Islands. The sand bank in the middle is covered in seals.
I found a quiet spot covered in wild flowers and I lay down on the grass with my camera. It was warm as toast in the sun and my peace was only disturbed by the occasional snort of a seal taking a breath as they swam by.
Sometimes photography takes you to very beautiful places and leaves you with very happy memories.
