The fallen trees from storm Arwen have been cleared with a chainsaw.
Such beautiful trees right to their heartwood. This one is a Scots Pine

A very mellow day on the beach.
10th January 2022, Low Newton, 2pm
Another WW2 block that I've never seen before. This one contains 3 names Wright, Silk and Ramsay. Silk is a local name so probably a relation of that family who was in the Home Guard in 1940.
