15th September 2021, Alnmouth, 6:30am
The sunrise was stuck behind a bank of cloud out over the sea.The light changed constantly as the sun rose and occasionally broke through a gap in the clouds.
Just as a bright blue day finally broke over us on the shore, a heavy shower poured rain onto the sea. I'm sure the sea didn't mind.
