I was at a funeral today for a chap who was 10 years old when these blocks were placed here in 1940. Such a lot of life to live and he lived it fully for as long as he could (passing piano exams well into his eighties). He lived simply with no fancy possessions but many friends and many hobbies.An inspirational man.
