This is the summer solstice due to it being a leap year.
Last night's rain was heading off over the N Sea but when the sun came out it actually got warm enough to take my jacket off!

The solstice sunset at Bamburgh Castle. A very pleasant hour pre-sunset wandering around the dunes waiting and watching the light change.
