When we first arrived the sun was just rising into some cloud at the horizon. The sky a spectrum from warm orange through cold, pale blue to the last of the night-time indigo black and the beach an honest reflection of the same.

As we climbed up into the dunes the sun started to break through into clear sky...

...and bathed the landscape and its visitors in a warm, pink light.
