A couple of days of wild weather have whipped the sea into a frenzy. Yesterday was a day of blasting wind and painful hail showers so the camera stayed in the pocket.
Today I could have sat here and enjoyed the waves...
This urchin was right up the beach and was intact. I suspect it had been dropped by a bird on the hunt for some breakfast.

Hi Andy,
your today's photos are really gorgeous, but my favourite of November (until now) is the second one.
Breakers from the east to the west in combination with strong winds in the opposite direction, right?
That makes these great "spray flags"... (do you have a better word for this?). And the appropriate light situation is really perfect for the scene.
Great work. :-)
Uwe.
Hi Andy,
I've only recently become re-acquainted with your N360 blog after an unforgivable period of cruel indifference and casual neglect.
Love the first of today's photos; so much going on from the wader silhouettes in the foreground to the wind-tossed waves and the castle ruins in the background.
Must catch up soon.
Stut.
