My path festooned
With morning jewels of heavy dew
By the time I reach the sand
I’m as wet as if I’d waded
Into the waves
The sea fret rolls in during warm weather and can spoil the summer sunshine for the casual sun-bather.
The myriad of fine droplets can give their own beauty to the micro-landscapes for the photographer to find (even for spider-phobic photographers!)
8th September 2023, Bamburgh, 4pm
The sea fret swirls around the smiley lighthouse and stag rock. Holy Island nowhere to be seen.
